Dressing the bump

This could be the most depressing thing you’ll ever have to do, but it should be the most exciting!

I was on the verge of tears when I was going through my clothes trying to find something to wear! Too short, doesn’t fit, can’t close my pants, too tight. It was not fun.

Most important thing to keep in mind is comfort, you want to make sure baby has enough room and isn’t being squished! I am not advising anyone to wear tights or sweats(I never would advise anyone to wear tights EVER unless it’s to the gym)! It is important to not lose yourself, if you always dress up then don’t let the bump stop you! Embrace your bump it is a beautiful thing that not all women get to experience.

I am not a fan of maternity clothes even if they’re cute and all I don’t like any maternity clothes especially the price!

Here are some ideas on how to adjust to the bigger clothes:

  • For pants or shorts that don’t button, use a hair tie!
  • When looking for clothes, shop at your same stores just go up a size or two.

Who said you can’t be stylish and pregnant!?

As I grow in my pregnancy I will be adding more pregnancy posts to encourage other mommas to stay stylish!
